Day 6 - Daqitou Village continued some more

This is a high chair used by the inhabitants of this village. The last inhabitants probably lived here as late as the 70's.

In China, scaffolding is often made of bamboo. First, its available and cheap. Second, it can be very windy here, winds up to 70 mph is not uncommon during typhoon season. Bamboo is more flexible than steel.
